Ian gave me the latest Beta of Windows Vista. I have the 64-bit edition and I hope it will work this time. Right now I have the 32-bit edition installed. I should have it installed by tomorrow so expect a review soon.
I found the issue with Aero Glass that I reported earlier. The reason why Aero Glass fails sometimes is that Virtual PC 2004 does not support the Aero glass look.  I can turn on Aero glass when Virtual PC is not running and not when VM (Virtual Machines) are in a saved state.  However, I have been using SQL Server quite a bit lately so I have not been able to enjoy Aero Glass.
A while back I did a review on Microsoft Windows Vista.  I am now running into an issue.  I do have an odd situation.  My Aero Glass interface is not working.  I keep trying to re-enable it but it will not take.  The OS still looks nice but I want to be able to see the glass instead of just gray and black bars.  I will probably mess with it tonight to see if I can get it all fixed. Thanks to Ian and a new laptop, I am now running a copy of Microsoft Windows Vista so I figured I would do a review of it. Likes Windows Vista is a very promising operating system, but it is a bit of a resource hog.  Windows Vista is very graphically appealing and feature-rich.  I enjoy the new "Aero Glass" interface.  Aero Glass includes borders on windows that have a fogged glass look to them.  Windows below can be seen.  It makes the window borders seem smaller than they actually are…
